Comedy Chocolate The Third
Another month, another comedy chocolate post (have a look at Chocolate Snr and Chocolate Jnr if you don’t know what I’m on about).
I was lucky enough to have a week off in Portugal last week. The arid landscape was nowhere near as flowery as Flowers HQ’s offering - shame on Portugal. Fortunately, I’m safely back at Flowers HQ now and flower withdrawal symptoms are but a distant memory. However, the Portugese nation did itself proud in the provision of comedy confectionery department which is, after all, far more important as far as this blog is concerned. :)
So, without further ado, here is a picture of one of Arena Flowers’ longest serving flower delivery aces, Damian, along with the latest batch of chocs. Damian is most famous (infamous?) in the office for keeping his cool when attacked by a traffic warden. It seems the warden didn’t see the funny side of Damian standing in front of his van’s licence plate to stop the warden giving him a ticket - so the warden resorted to good old fashioned fisticuffs, much to Damian’s bemusement. Damian’s also well known for his massive grin. Given the jaw breaking nature of the toffees I brought back, I’m hoping that this photo isn’t the last we see of his famous pearly whites!
