Dear Ruth, This is Dianne S in Australia and this is just a note to say a very big Thank You for your service. This morning I’ve had an excited phone call from my brother-in-law in the U.K. saying that the flowers had just arrived in a huge box and that they were absolutely beautiful. We sent them for my sister-in-law, Meg, on the occasion of her Dad’s passing and in celebration of his life. Her Dad, Bert, was an officer in The Salvation Army, as her whole family are still, and he gave out so much to so many and is much loved. My husband, Tony, has known Bert since he was 8 years old, for 59 years and Bert had a tremendous influence on him growing up, I’ve only known Bert on my several visits to the U.K., over the years, but he made a great impression on me as well. Needless to say we were very sad not to have been able be there for Bert’s funeral, but thrilled to be able to send such beautiful flowers, thanks to your efforts and to know how happy they were to receive them. I especially loved that they included eucalyptus leaves as a special expression of Australia as I am Australian. Thank you again and your follow up emails have been very helpful.
