The definitive house-style, composed from 30 still base wines drawn from at least two vintages, and the three varieties of Champagne, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier blended in equal portions. The Pinot Noir comes from the villages of the Montagne de Reims and contributes body and character; the Chardonnay comes from Epemay itself and the Côte des Blancs and provides lightness and elegance; the Pinot Meunier comes from the Vallée de la Mame and provides youthfulness and vigour. The perfect aperitif champagne which is never released until it is at least three years old.
The Royal Warrant was awarded to Pol Roger in 1911 and Pol Roger was served at the Guildhall luncheon held on George V’s Coronation Day, 30th June. Winston Churchill famously said of Pol Roger "In defeat I need it, in victory I deserve it".
There are no hidden delivery charges when you send drinks with us, though the minimum order is £19.99, including flowers etc. However, we are not able to send drinks to destinations outside Greater London for same day delivery. You must order before 5pm on the day before for such deliveries.
