SPRING FLOWERS

March marks the start of UK Springtime where flowers begin to flourish as temperature begin to pick up and days gradually begin to get longer. However, it is quite common to see the pointed tips of Daffodil's sheath-like leaves cutting through the grass a few weeks beforehand, which is a true indicator that Spring is on its way. Mark the start of UK Springtime with a bunch of gorgeous, lovingly hand-tied spring flowers: celebrate the new season in style and treat someone special!

The air is filled with the sound of chicks chirping in their nests, the breeze teases us with a hint of warmth and the fields and gardens are waking up... Spring has sprung!

A bouquet of spring flowers is just the tonic needed after the long, cold winters, and who wouldn't be filled with joy to have one of these darlings delivered to their door.

This bouquet is called Springtime Favourites for a reason. Cheerful yellow daffodils are paired perfectly with velvety violet irises - two heralds of the season. The modest white tulips add freshness to the ensemble, and the dainty 'Parvi' eucalyptus adds the finishing touch.

A special spring bouquet that makes a truly delightful gift.

Spring Flowers FAQs

Which flowers are most associated with spring?
It probably comes a no surprise to you that three of the top spring flowers are Irises, Daffodils and Tulips. That's why they're in our Springtime Favourites bouquet!

There are other flowers you'll find in our spring-themed bouquets too, like Delphinium, Freesias and Peonies.
What are springs significant colours?
With them blooming in spring, the bright yellow of daffodils and the iris's deep violet are two colours that will immediately make people think of the spring season. However, as it's when plants start coming back to life and bursting with colour, we think every shade is appropriate for spring, and some prefer the slightly more toned down pastel shades for the early part of this season.
Why are spring flowers often yellow?
As with many things in nature, the colour of flowers can affect how successful they are in their habitat, and yellow is proven to better attract pollinating insects like bees and butterflies.
