Who are we supporting

For Mother’s Day in 2024 we donated £5 from sales of a bouquet designed by TV Presenter Ruth Langsford, raising £2000 for the Alzheimer’s Society.
In support of parents experiencing the bereavement of a child, we donate all profits from sales of our Baby Boy and Baby Girl bouquets to The Lullaby Trust.
In 2023 we supported Sue Ryder by donating £1 from every Celestia bouquet sold throughout December.

Remembrance flowers FAQs

What flowers are appropriate for remembering someone?
Remembrance and the experience of grief is incredibly personal, so there's not one sure fire answer. However, a flower that is popular for this sentiment are white lilies. They symbolise thankfulness, innocence and purity, things often associated with the loss of a loved one. There are lots more flowers that would be appropriate for remembrance. The red poppy is another well-known flower, associated with Armistice Day in November. Roses, and their symbolism in love are a good choice, especially as different colour roses have more nuanced love meanings. For example, white roses symbolise eternal love, and peach roses mean 'sincerity'. Don't feel restricted by this, however. If your lost loved one adored bright colours or a certain flower like gerberas, then picking a bouquet with these hues or stems would be an excellent way to remember them.

Our flowers are fresher and better value than almost any other UK florist for a number of reasons. We purchase our flowers direct from the flower auctions in Holland, cutting out several commission-taking middlemen along the way. We buy in reasonable volume, so we are able to get better prices on behalf of our customers. And we haven't got fancy, showy offices to support! Also, our flowers spend only a short period of time in our fridge before going out as we buy every day instead of once a week like the vast majority of florists. This all means that you will get better value flowers that have spent far less time in transit if you buy from Arena Flowers than you would almost anywhere else.
