What colours are good in an Autumn arrangement?
The colours most associated with autumn are yellow, orange, red and brown – that's what we see in nature as the leaves on the trees go through their life cycle. However, don't feel limited by this – as the days get colder and the nights draw in, cooler hues are also appropriate this season. What flowers are Autumnal?
It's a misconception that everything goes to sleep in Autumn to prepare for winter, but there are some flowers where this just isn't true. For example, chrysanthemums come in to their own at the end of summer and in to Autumn, providing a cushion of colour in any fall flower arrangement.
