“Serendipity is a word that has been used to describe me and my journey over the years, so this name felt really fitting. My daughter loves daisies, so I know this one will be her favourite.”

Little Liverbird

Wild and wonderful, this bouquet captures the carefree spirit of childhood. It was designed by Stacey in support of Alder Hey Children’s Charity in Liverpool, where Stacey lives. For each bouquet sold, £5 will go directly to the charity. Find out more about the charity’s work here.

“Alder Hey is such a stellar, incredibly impressive children’s hospital based in the north-west, where I live. I’m starry-eyed any time I have any interaction with anyone who works there, so I’m made up that we’re able to support them with this bouquet.”

The Foxtrot

Pink anthuriums and a striking red rose steal the spotlight in this elegant bouquet, which is named after Stacey’s favourite dance.

“The foxtrot is a dance I love to do with my boyfriend, who happens to be a dancer. He’s not as into it as I am, but I sometimes force him to do a quick lap around the kitchen. I love the anthuriums in this bouquet; I just think they look so lux.”

Shirley Temple

Sweet in both name and nature, the Shirley Temple bouquet is inspired by Stacey’s drink of choice, and features three varieties of rose.

“The colours of this bouquet remind me of a Shirley Temple, my fave tipple. I’m not really into booze – I don’t really drink – so whenever I’m out down the pub, I’ll have a Shirley T.”

Crazy Hazel

Named in honour of Stacey’s Nan, a beloved pub landlady who was full of personality, this statement arrangement is made for the standout people in your life.

“Crazy Hazel was my Nan’s nickname. She was such a character. She was a landlady, and she’d be behind the bar showing off all the time. It’s quite sentimental that name, so I’m made up that we’ve used it for this bouquet.”

Five minutes with Stacey

What do you love about flowers?
“I got really into flowers when I got my first flat, around eight years ago. I think when you have your own space, you’re so enormously proud and you just get really into making it look and feel beautiful, and a little bunch of flowers is a real treat.”
How would you describe your floristry style?
“I would say I like things quite sculptural and wild. I don’t like anything too obviously pretty or girly.”
What was the inspiration for this collection?
“The inspiration was drawn from my own love of flowers, and what I look for when I’m buying a bouquet. Arena Flowers have really allowed me to put my own style on this collection, while also helping me choose stems that are in season. The final bouquets are five examples of flowers that I would have in my own house.”
How do you style flowers in your own home?
“I’m not fussed about which room I place my flowers in. I’ll have a bouquet in the kitchen, maybe a nice bunch in the living room, maybe some in the bathroom. I’d be fibbing if I said the guest room, because then I can’t see them every day. After a week or so, I like to take out the stems that are still going strong and decant them into bud vases. That was the idea behind this collection – you initially get a beautiful bunch, but each stem works on its own too, so you can make them last as long as possible. I hate waste, so the idea that you keep your bouquet going is very appealing to me.”
How does sending and receiving flowers make you feel?
“If anybody is ever at a loose end in terms of what they should buy me, buy me some flowers. I’m so touched if anybody ever sends me a bouquet. Whenever something monumental has happened in my life, I’ve received beautiful flowers, and it’s added to the excitement of the moment.”
What do you love about Arena Flowers?
“The idea that sustainability really does feel like a priority for Arena Flowers was one of the things that drew me to them. There were a few stems I wanted to include that we couldn’t use as they weren’t in season and that’s not something Arena does, so we felt quite aligned on that. It’s been hugely collaborative.”

Bringing the collection to life

Stacey joined our floristry team to design each of the five bouquets. With guidance from our experts on seasonality, she hand-picked her favourite flowers and arranged them in her unique style, resulting in a collection that echoes her preferred floristry aesthetic: sculptural and wild.

“Flowers bring me such joy. If I ever get kicked out of telly, I’d love to be a florist. The inspiration for this collection was drawn from my own love of flowers, and what I look for when I’m buying a bouquet. I like things quite sculptural and wild, and love decanting stems into different vases to really make the most of every flower that’s in my home.”
